Annie’s making spaces

Annie fits her making around looking after her grandchildren, so there are only ever a handful of spaces in a month. When those are taken, they are genuinely taken. There is no second production line.

How it works

    Tell Annie your idea

    A colour, a character, an occasion, a personality. "It is for my daughter, she loves foxes and the colour is that sort of dusty pink." That is plenty to start with.

  2. 2

    Annie works it out

    She will tell you honestly what is possible, what it would cost and how long it would take. If she cannot make it well, she will say so rather than take the money.

  3. 3

    It is made by hand

    Not picked off a shelf. Not printed on demand. Annie sits down over several evenings and makes your one, and sends you a photo before it is wrapped.

  4. 4

    Meet your creation

    Finished, photographed, wrapped by hand and posted, with a card naming who made it and who it was made for.

What you can decide

  • Colours

    Match a nursery, a wedding, a football team or a favourite jumper.

  • The character

    A pet, a person, a favourite animal, or something entirely invented.

  • Size

    Small enough for a shelf, or large enough to be a proper presence in a room.

  • Names & details

    An initial stitched somewhere, a date, a tiny detail only you would notice.
